The essence of what we do, the items that we create, is a blend the artistic with the practical, the earthy. It is the meshing of creativity, sweat, and hours (decades) of practice. It is a healthy respect for the work of those who came before us, with an eye on new ideas, designs, and techniques. It is a desire to honor God and His Creation. After all, no matter what we do to a piece of wood, it is God that makes the beauty in it.
